Berlin Opera Night

As performed on November 8, 2003, this opera gala was mounted to raise money for the German AIDS Foundation. It brings numerous celebrated classical vocalists together with the chorus and orchestra of the Deusche Oper Berlin and the conductor Kent Nagano; the ensemble performs extracts from works by such composers as Richard Strauss (Der Rosenkavalier), Ruggero Leoncavallo (Pagliacci), Mozart (Le Nozze di Figaro) and many others.
